(prensa.com)A delegation from the World Bank is in Panama to review development plans that are in place for the former U.S. military bases in the country, according to Panama Vice Minister of Finance Dulcidio de la Guardia.
The official accompanied the delegation to various areas to discuss the possibility of obtaining technical and financial assistance for the developments, which include the creation of logistic centers and maritime services areas.
During a meeting Tuesday, representatives of the World Bank presented a paper about the objectives and opportunities in the master plan.
The international representatives also met with officials of the Maritime Authority of Panama, the Colón Free Zone, the Panama Canal Authority and ports companies.
