(Midario.com) Another blow to drug trafficking were recorded Monday in the province of Veraguas and the District of Capira (Panama) when the police seized several shipments in two operations.
On patrol, officers of National Air Service (Senan) managed to recover a boat with 45 packages of cocaine that was stranded on a rock south of the island Cébaco in the Gulf of Montijo.
Edson Castillo, head of the first region of Bocas del Toro, Chiriqui and Veraguas, said that at about 4:00 am Last Monday, members of Senan found abandoned boat named “The Pegasus” with no passengers on board.
