(Panama Digest) Tocumen International Airport will implement new security regulations as part of an effort to control what comes in and out of the country.
Airplanes will be revised on the tarmac upon arrival by dogs specialized in drug and money detection. The hours for revising cargo arriving via courier will be extended, and airport personnel will have to wear badges.
Also, yellow taxis will not be allowed to park in the terminal area to pick up passengers, and a designated area will be created for smokers.
