(Prensa.com) After months of delay, the new food court at Tocumen International Airport commenced operations during the second week of April, with the opening of seven restaurants.
The center, which is located on the second floor of the airport, includes the restaurants Margaritaville, Dominos Pizza, Teriyaki, Chesters Chicken, Cinnabon, Natural and Salad, and Carl’s Jr.
The new food court has the capacity for approximately 500 people and is expected to generate an estimated 250 job opportunities. The Puerto Rican company International Meal Company invested $5 million in improvements, and during the 15 years of the contract, Tocumen will receive $133,000 per month in rental fees.
