(Panama Digest) It will cost $33 million to repair the access ramp to the Centenario Bridge, damaged as a result of last December’s heavy rains.
Work includes stabilizing the access ramp and building a 577-foot bridge. The project is 38 percent advanced and is expected for delivery some time between August and September of this year.
If the math is correct, the price tag for the repairs is 31.6 percent of the $104.3 million it cost to build the bridge and 22 percent of the $150 million the State will have to spend on total flood damages.
