(Prensa.com) Spanish soccer team Real Madrid has renewed its agreement with the Fundación Mapfre,which operates a school in Panama as well as several other countries in Latin America.
The agreement will allow schools in El Salvador, Panama and Brazil to continue operating. It also calls for the opening of schools in Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, and the Philippines.
These schools will support “nearly 1,600 young people” who are “in social vulnerability situations.” The schools offer access to basic necessities, such as food, medical care and programs aimed at improving their education.
The agreement was ratified Tuesday by Real Madrid President Florentino Perez and Jose Manuel Martinez, president of the Fundación Mapfre.
