(Prensa.com) A total of nine sectors in the districts of Panama and San Miguelito reported damage produced by the rain that fell Monday afternoon, over a period of two hours.
According to figures from the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc), at Calle 15, Pueblo Nuevo a total of 49 people were affected because mud was introduced in the 19 quarters in which they reside.
While in 8th Street in Pueblo Nuevo nine people were affected by a landslide.
FLOOD
In Rio Abajo were also reported damaged due to rain. The highlight was in lane 7 where six quarters were flooded, in which 37 people live.
Sinaproc According to the report, the flood reached three feet in height. But no injuries were reported due to this flood.
While Lefevre Park Street 6 four houses were flooded, in which eight people live.
After the tours Sinaproc staff determined that the rain caused damage to the properties of 121 people.
In the district of San Miguelito landslides were reported in parts of New Libya, Buenos Aires and Samaria.
The Sinaproc also noted that his staff had to rescue 35 children and four adults at a nursery located in Parque Lefevre.
