(Panama America) The Santa Librada Metro Bus on August 19th will be the next route to be incorporated into Panama’s Mass Transit system, Metrobus.
Santa Librada will join the Pedregal and San Isidro in providing a service for the trunk routes (Transístmica, Tumba Muerto and Via Spain).
The general manager of the Transit Authority and Land Transport, Jorge Ricardo Fabrega said that before the end of the year the “Red Devils” disappear from the streets to make way for the new system.
“By December, the last diablo rojo bus will leave the streets,” he reiterated Fabrega.
The official said the changes will be made gradually, so he asks the Panamanians have patience.
