Panama seized 1.8 tons of cocaine in November

In November, seizing 1.8 tons of cocaine
This morning they found 307 thousand packages of cocaine, with an average of one kilo each.

In the last days of November, the National Police (PN), the National Air Service and the Drug Prosecutor’s Office seized 1.8 tons of cocaine in joint operations in the country.
The most recent was this morning on the shores of Chiman district, at the height of the river Jira, where agents seized security sectors reached 307 thousand packages of cocaine, with an average of one kilo each.

According to a statement from the PN, the drug was found in the false bottom of a boat which was seized along with another boat that was in place.
“In both vessel were found a series of documents that have allowed the identification of the responsible drug,” said the PN.

For its part, the commissioner Diego De Leon, National Operations Director of the National Police, said that at present remain a strong police operation to find the whereabouts of those involved in this drug case.
