(Prensa.com) The Municipality of Panama has confirmed that the Seafood Market, located at the end of Balboa Avenue at the entrance to Casco Antiguo (the old town), will remain open throughout the Easter holiday.
Immediately following Holy Week, the Seafood Market will close its doors on Monday, April 25, Tuesday, April 26, and Wednesday, April 27, in order to perform due maintenance on the facilities. Wholesale purchases will only be suspended on Monday, April 25, according to a press release.
Meanwhile, the government also reported that the San Felipe Neri Market, located on Avenue B, will also be open during the week.
Likewise, the Panama City Mayor’s Office announced that the artisan market located in the Balboa area will remain open every day of Holy Week.
The 5 de Mayo market will close only on Good Friday, as will the Central Farmer’s Market and the Summit Municipal Park.
The Mi Pueblito tourist complex, meanwhile, will be closed on Thursday and Good Friday.
