(Panama Digest) Former Panamanian presidents Ernesto Perez Balladeres, Mireya Moscoso and Martin Torrijos joined current President Ricardo Martinelli for lunch at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday.
On the menu was squash soup, meat wrapped in bacon, salad and lemon pie, La Prensa reports.
After lunch, Martinelli took his guests on a tour of the new annex, the Cabinet room, the offices of the Institutional Protection Service and finally settled in one of the Presidential salons.
They met for two and a half hours. Although the meeting was closed, the presidents said they discussed the energy crisis, the Panama Canal, economic growth, the water crisis, constitutional reform, justice and the cost of living.
