(Newsroom Panama) Panama is heading towards another big step in the computerization age by installing a $16 million electronic registration system for vehicles.
Jorge Ricardo Fábrega, the director the transit authority (ATTT), said Tuesday, that the authority is in the process of selecting a contractor for the implementation of the system.
Fábrega said that the new system will be more “efficient and agile and will reduce car thefts and make it easier for owners to register their vehicles.
