(Newsroom Panama) Angels walked or rode the streets of Panama, Roman soldiers marched through Casco Viejo, and children hunted for Easter eggs in the grounds of a church in Balboa, as Panama’s Christian communities marked the closing days of Holy Week.
Young and old joined processions from Cristo Rey church inf Bella Vista under the midday sun to follow and celbrate the Stations of the Cross, and at night hundreds, some in wheel chairs, traveled for kilometers to celebrate Good Friday and their beliefs.

Teams of worshipers pushed replicas of events leading up to the crucifixion, others, some in wheel chairs, carried
candles, and followed behind fellow worshippers, dressed in period costume illustrating the story of a week in history, over 2000 years ago.
