As part of the project, the government will spend almost $40,000 to the municipality of Antón to temporarily resolve the issue of transferring waste to prevent environmental problems.
Antón mayor Jorge Cáceres said that the money will be used to store garbage at a 15-hectare site in El Jobo until the new landfill is ready.
