(PanamaDigest) Ballet dancers from all over the world will descend on Panama City for the Stars of the 21st Century ballet gala this week.
The gala, January 27 at the Atlapa Convention Center, features Cuba’s National Ballet, Moscow’s Bolshoi Ballet, Milan’s La Scalia, the Berlin Opera Ballet, San Petersburg’s Kirov Ballet, the Vienna Ballet, the Royal Ballet of Flanders and the State Theater of the Opera.
From January 24 to 26, 21st Century International Ballet Competition ballerinas from Canada, Russia, Venezuela, Costa Rica, the United States, the Dominican Republic and Panama will vie for a chance to dance alongside the professionals at the gala.
Events are open to the public.
