(Panama America) The remodeling and expansion of the Enrique Malek Airport in David, Chiriqui, have a 87% physical progress.
Oldemar Patiño, manager of the work by the Civil Aviation Authority (PCA), said the expansion will increase the capacity to receive large aircraft to fly from abroad.
The project, whose cost is 27.4 million, is a public investment of the National Government and the remodeling includes building rojade Street, to rehabilitation and extension of the runway and the construction of the new airport terminal, which will diplomat with a lounge, administrative offices, 200 parking lots and security cameras.
