(Panama Digest) Just one week ago, Copa Airlines became the first Latin American carrier to take delivery of Boeing’s Next-Generation 737 with the new Boeing Sky Interior.
The new interior has cove lighting, curving architecture, a more open cabin, larger stowage bins and television screens, and soft blue LED lighting overhead that is intended to simulate sky.
Operating out of the “Hub of the Americas” in Panama City, Copa services 52 destinations in 25 countries. This new 737-800 is the first of 10 that the airline will receive in 2011.
