(Xinhuanet) The Chinese commercial delegation will again be the largest one in the international trade fair Expocomer 2011 in Panama, the authorities said Wednesday.
Fernando Arango, president of the Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Chamber, told Xinhua in the fair presentation that China will take 73 stands in the exhibition.
“China’s participation is important to us. We can see the quality of Chinese products becomes better year after year,” he said.
The Chinese delegation will participate in five key sectors such as textiles, food, services, construction and technology.
More than 35 countries will attend the fair with their commercial delegations and buyers, according to Carlos Rodriguez, president of the Expocomer committee.
The four-day fair, which will be held at the Atlapa Convention Center of the Panama Bay, will cover about 9,500 square meters, Rodriguez added.
The exhibition will provide 634 stands for more than 500 companies to present their newest manufacturing, industrial and technological products.
Besides China, other countries from Asia, Europe and North and South America, will take part in the fair.
The total volume of business transactions reached over 124 million U.S. dollars last year, and the figure is expected to be surpassed this year.
