(Prensa.com) The Ministry of Public Works has announced that it will change the traffic patterns on the Centenario Bridge starting Monday.
According to the ministry, from Monday to Saturday there will be three lanes open on the bridge to accommodate rush-hour traffic. From 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., there will be two lanes open heading into the city, and one lane heading to the interior. Then traffic will be reduced to two lanes, on in each direction, until 4 p.m.
At that time, a second lane heading to the interior will be open.
The new schedule is intended to accommodate the large traffic flows in those directions during those time periods.
The ministry is continuing repairs on the access road leading to the bridge. Those repairs are expected to be finished in August.
