(Panama Digest) Drivers traveling to and from Panama City and the interior of the country should be aware of the Centenario Bridge’s special Carnaval schedule.
On March 4, 5 and 7, the bridge will be open to traffic flowing towards Panama City from 5 to 9 a.m. On March 8, it will be open from noon to midnight and on March 9, from 5 a.m. to midnight.
For cars going towards the interior of the country, hours are from 4 p.m. to midnight on March 4; March 5 from noon to midnight; and Monday from 4 to 9 p.m.
The bridge will be closed on Sunday, March 6.
Meanwhile, the Bridge of the Americas will be open from March 4 to 9 in both directions although restrictions on transit of heavy equipment remain in effect.
