Panama which already leads the world in the production of Giesha coffee and also produces multiple varieties of the precious bean , will soon have a coffee testing laboratory in Boquete to determine the quality of the grains which go to international competitions and are exported to major markets.
The coffee exports and benefit from receiving the first donation of two modern equipment to start with the laboratory to detect product quality Panama.
The equipment worth $130,000 was donated by the Spanish International Cooperation Agency as part of the Regional Program for the Improvement of Coffee Production (PROMECAFE) and The Ministry of Agricultural Development.
