(prensa.com) The company Transcaribe Trading (TCT), responsible for carrying out the repair and expansion of the Arraiján-La Chorrera highway, announced on Friday that the work is estimated to be completed in 20 months.
According to David Jochin, President of TCT, this implies that the work would be completed in 10 months less than the time stipulated by the Ministry of Public Works to deliver the work.
He added that they are discussing the possibility of constructing at least one pedestrian and one vehicular bridge in the sector of Vacamonte in Arraiján, which were not initially covered by the original plans.
The repair and expansion of the motorway represents an investment of approximately $152.6 million, and is currently 23 percent complete.
