05/20/2011 By Panama Eric

(Midiario.com) Undoubtedly the Darien province has much to offer not only beautiful scenery and for its extensive river crossings, but perhaps most valuable, talent and love felt by Darien by their customs and dances.
As shown by a group of students from the School The Zapallal, who on Wednesday refused to stand in La Palma, capital of the province, because they did not have a boat and life jackets for transportation down there and show the visitors their talent.

But they did not stay with the desire to dance, and who did the members of the Foundation for Children staff and Darien “My Journal” who visited in the sector.
The site chosen was the Puerto Quimba plazotela the banks of the river Tuira. There the teacher Nora Elena Blanco, students and parents sounded the drums, accompanied by the voice of the girl Jessica Valencia, and thus began the party.
The kids at school do not hesitate to dance several pieces, including bullerengue, earning applause from the audience. Girls Liz, Jessica Lorenis and showed their prowess in these rhythmic dance movements, characteristics of Darien.
While in the other corner of the harbor, a group of fishermen pulled from several fishing boats of the day, all under a broiling sun. So are Darien and its people.
