(Panama America) On Tuesday, the minister of the presidency, Jimmy Papadimitriu news conference, announced that it will build 500 bus stops for the tranport system group in the capital city, Metrobus.
Papadimitriu said of the 500 stops, 25 are so-called pay areas. “Such stops are stainless steel and garbanizada. They will also have displays that indicate the bus route and the time delay in reaching the place,” he said.
He argued that the 25 stops will be built in two phases: the first will be in the area of El Marañón, Albrook, Torrijos Carter, Pedregal, La Cabima, San Isidro, Los Andes, Los Pueblos (Avenida José Agustín Arango and Avenue Sunday Diaz.

The rest of the stops, which are 475, have been called typical stops and will be distributed in the districts of San Miguelito and Panama.
The construction start date was not announced, but the holder of the Chair said that could be ready in three months.
